Ithaca Montessori School offers a joyful and enriching Summer Camp Program for children ages 3 and 4 rooted in Montessori principles.
Each day follows a consistent, child-centered routine that includes circle time, uninterrupted work periods, outdoor play, lunch, snacks, and rest. Camp activities are thoughtfully designed to support independence, confidence, and social-emotional growth while nurturing each child’s natural curiosity.
Throughout the summer, campers will explore engaging themes such as Under the Sea, Birds, Transportation, and Gardening through hands-on materials, art, movement, and nature-based experiences. These thematic studies encourage creativity, problem-solving, and a love of learning in a warm, supportive environment.
Families receive a session newsletter highlighting classroom activities and upcoming events. Flexible scheduling options are available, including half-day, full-day, and before- and after-care.
